The giant ape, recreated from combining the DNA of the original Kong with a human, is able to mind-link with his "brother" Jason, making him even more powerful than his predecessor.
Kong and the prehistoric animals that inhabit Kong Island have been kidnapped by adventurer Hunter Stagg III and transported to a new high-tech zoo in the centre of New York.
